Piling Equipment Ltd was founded in 2007, by our Managing Director, Mark Symes. Since the early 1980’s Mark worked for a variety of piling companies both in the UK and internationally. Over a span of four decades, he has been able to attain invaluable industry experience and expertise, plus a vital insight into the piling and drilling sector. Since inception Piling Equipment Ltd has gone from strength to strength. Today we are considered one of the leading global suppliers, specialising in supplying new and used piling rigs and drilling equipment. We pride ourselves at being the only company in the UK to provide:
- The sale of new and used rigs and drilling equipment both nationally and internationally.
- The hire of Geax rigs and Cobra range of mini piling rigs.
- Servicing and maintenance of our own rigs, we also offer the facility to service most make/models of customer’s rig if required.
- Manufacture of Cobra range of mini rigs and bespoke accessories for special projects.
Currently we have a diverse team comprised of 11 individuals working across our head office and workshop. Our team has a wealth of experience within the departments and works collaboratively to provide our clients with the most proactive and professional service. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and believe every interaction with us should be proficient and hassle free.
We offer a complete range of services available to customers located both in the UK and abroad. Primarily we focus on sales and plant hire within the UK and we also offer an array of workshop-based services and worldwide machinery and equipment sales.
Sales: We have an extensive range of new and used piling equipment and drilling machinery available for sale. Our rigs can meet a variety of project needs from CFA and rotary to large diameter and tight access jobs. All machinery comes complete with a full warranty and is inspected and serviced prior to delivery.
Hire: Our hire fleet is the newest and most diverse in the UK. From mini rigs, and drophammers to CFA and rotary rigs, we guarantee to have a machine for every project and jobsite. We offer a range of flexible rental agreements, and all our machinery is fully serviced and fuelled prior to arrival on site, ensuring your rig is ready to start working immediately. Our rigs have worked on lots of interesting projects, including shopping malls, underground car parks, rail projects, basement excavations, home builds and extensions, we really do have a rig for every job.
Workshop: Our on-site workshop is fully equipped to accommodate a range of services. Our engineers have over 100 years of combined industry experience and regularly conduct services such as auger repairs, LOLER inspections, rig repairs and maintenance as well as complete equipment refurbishments. We also have the facilities and capacity to offer our clients custom built machines. Our plant manager will discuss ideas and specifications with you, present a variety of customisable options including bespoke colours, and build your rig completely to your specification, ensuring a truly unique machine.
We believe that piling equipment and accessories should be easily available. Whether you are looking to purchase a new, ex-demo or second-hand used rig with full-service history, or you are interested in hiring from us, our assortment of equipment ensure we can cater to an extensive client base.
Due to our diverse corporate strategy, we can meet and fulfil customer needs throughout the products lifecycle. From the initial sale, through to general maintenance and servicing, finishing with a potential trade-in or part-exchange, our multifaceted approach allows us to continue serving the client at each point of a products lifespan. This sustainable and multi-dimensional method ensures we can provide ongoing service and support to our customers, thus ensuring our longevity.
On a day-to-day Monday – Friday basis, our office is open from 8:30 until 5pm and our workshop is open from 8am until 5pm. On Saturdays the workshop is also open from 8am until 12pm. We also have a separate storage yard 10mins drive from our HQ which enables us to stock a large assortment of piling accessories and drilling equipment. Due to our geographical location, we have access to many UK ports enabling us to ship internationally with ease.
In general, we sell our products both new and used, around the globe. We are the exclusive international dealer for Cobra machines as well as an agent for Geax. Our Geax contract allows us to sell new rigs anywhere internationally where there is no existing dealership located in that country.
Our sales team have over 15 years’ experience with international shipping, and we have worked alongside clients all over the world, we always strive to provide the best service possible. Throughout the sales and shipping process our team will provide updates and ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is processed appropriately.
