Q: What kind of equipment does Piling Equipment Ltd hire out?
A: We have a diverse range of piling machinery suitable for different jobsites. From mini piling rigs and CFA rigs, to drophammer and rotary piling rigs, we have a variety of equipment to meet your individual requirements and specifications. If you’re after something in particular or can’t find what you need, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
Q: Is there a minimum or maximum time period for hiring equipment?
A: Our mini piling rigs can be hired out on a minimum 3 days hire whilst our other rigs have a minimum hire period of one week, however there are exceptions to this rule. Our rigs can be hired for longer periods of time too, from 3, 6 or 12 months, we’re able to offer short and long term hire in order to accommodate you and your project.
Q: How will the equipment get to site?
A: We do offer a haulage service, our team will load the rig and equipment for you. All of our rigs are serviced and full of diesel prior to departure, ensuring your hire order arrives on site ready to work. All rigs are also sent with an information pack including certification, daily check sheets and operating manual.
Alternatively you can collect the equipment yourself. We will provide all the information you need to arrange your own haulage. Upon arrival of the haulage vehicle our team will assist with unloading to ensure a swift and safe arrival onto site.
Q: Do you offer equipment training?
A: Yes. When hiring equipment from us we can send one of our engineers to your site in order to train staff how to safely and efficiently operate the machinery.
Q: What happens if there is a problem with the equipment or a rig breaks down?
A: We offer a UK wide, on-site breakdown service to get your project back on track as quickly as possible. Our team have extensive knowledge and experience with electrical and hydraulic problem solving as well as general fault-finding skills. Our engineers drive fully stocked vehicles, creating that mobile workshop environment, complete with appropriate qualifications, certificates, and PPE.
