WHAT IS PILING?
Piling is a foundation technique that transfers the load of a structure into deeper, stronger ground layers. Instead of relying only on surface soil, long slender piles made from steel, concrete, or timber are driven or drilled into the ground until they reach load-bearing strata or rock. The result is a stable base for homes, commercial buildings, bridges, and more.
